About the Connecticut State Plan
The State of Connecticut, under an agreement with OSHA, operates an occupational safety and health program in accordance with Section 18(b) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. The Connecticut State Plan was initially approved October 2, 1978, and was granted final State Plan approval on August 19, 1986.
The Connecticut Occupational Safety and Health Division (CONN-OSHA) is part of the Connecticut Department of Labor. Connecticut OSHA is currently headed by Mr. Kenneth Tucker, Director. Connecticut OSHA is located in Wethersfield, Connecticut.
